UQSchoolsNet Launched!

UQSchoolsNet, a service that establishes an online community of schools that can connect at high speed to each other and to UQ, was launched at the end of October by Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale. The launch was held at Ipswich Girls’ Grammar School, which was the pilot school, and is the first foundation member, of UQSchoolsNet.
Demonstrations of UQSchoolsNet’s capabilities, such as high-defninition videoconferencing, were features of the launch, which was attended by more than 100 guests from the Queensland education community. More...
