AusCERT2007 - Finding the balance

AusCERT IT Security Conferences have been bringing together the world's best IT security experts for the benefit of the Australian and Asia-Pacific IT community since 2002. This year’s conference promises to uphold this tradition.
AusCERT2007, being held from 20th – 25th May, is themed ‘IT Security: finding the balance - Towards better management of Information Security’. As in previous years, a number of international speakers are confirmed, including Howard A. Schmidt, President and CEO - R & H Security Consulting, LLC; Ivan Krstic, Chief Security Architect - One Laptop per Child; and Richard Thieme - ThiemeWorks (back by popular request).
This year’s conference will also see the return of the Executive Boot Camp, introduced at AusCERT2006, because of its success. Discussion on this day is led by keynote speakers selected from the main conference program, and is aimed at ‘C ‘ level executives. More...
