ITS fosters an IT community at UQ by encouraging IT staff to become Information Technology Liaison Officers (ITLOs).

Meetings are held monthly with a technical presentation from an external organisation followed by a general business meeting where campus IT issues are discussed.

The ITLO meetings aim to forge an environment of support, collaboration and information sharing for IT staff. ITLOs communicate via email mailing lists, one for general announcements and the other for more detailed online discussions.

Whilst ITS encourages UQ departments to nominate one "official" ITLO representative, we invite anyone with an interest in IT to join the ITLO mailing list. All are welcome to attend the monthly presentations.
